Eric co-founded Invictus in 2020 and is responsible for originating and structuring investments, risk and portfolio management, raising capital and asset management. He is a real estate attorney and banker by trade, with over 28 years of experience in real estate equity investments and structured debt, joint ventures, property developments, and restructurings and workouts.Prior to Invictus, Eric spent 10 years as a Partner and General Counsel at Glacier Global Partners, a New York private equity company, where Eric originated deals, raised equity and debt, structured, closed and executed the business plans on all projects.  Prior to Glacier, Eric spent 3 years as Managing Director and General Counsel of Madison Realty Capital, a real estate debt fund where his principal responsibilities were structuring and closing new debt originations and re-structuring and working out existing portfolio loans. During his tenure, Eric led the workouts and foreclosures, of over 150 transactions.

Prior to Madison, Eric worked at Bear Stearns & Co., as a Director in the CMBS group, structuring and closing over $3.7 billion of commercial mortgages and managing the group’s $1.5 billion balance sheet lending platform, consisting of construction, redevelopment, bridge and mezzanine loans. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Scheffler spent 11 years as a commercial real estate attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP and Blank Rome LLP.Eric resides in Scarsdale, NY with his wife and three daughters.  When he’s not working, Eric competes in triathlons, ultramarathons and plays guitar in a local “mid-life crisis” band. Eric received a B.A. in economics and philosophy from Colgate University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

As a co-founder of Invictus Real Estate Partners, Chris is responsible for sourcing and underwriting equity and debt originations, as well as capital raising, asset management and residential and office development. With just under 24 years of experience and almost 4 million square feet of development expertise, Chris brings hands on knowledge in project management, planning and execution. His most recent development was the recipient of a 2019 Building Brooklyn Award from The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce for best adaptive reuse for an office development.

Chris is a real estate developer with over 23 years of experience in ground up construction and conversions of residential and office real estate properties. His knowledge of zoning and massing analysis, construction methodologies and financial evaluation enable him to quickly discern the economic viability of equity and debt investments.

Prior to Invictus, Chris spent 10 years as a Principal at Glacier Global Partners, a New York private equity company. Chris’s responsibilities included sourcing acquisitions, residential and office development, debt originations, underwriting, financial procurement, product positioning, property management, project management, leasing and general implementation of development objectives.  Prior to Glacier, Chris was the Director of Development and Acquisitions for Triton Realty Holdings, a real estate company where his principal responsibilities were sourcing acquisitions, underwriting, financial procurement, product positioning and general implementation.  Involved in all facets of due diligence, financial analysis, team selection and marketing approach. Chris co-managed the entire development process from acquisition to final construction documents and project completion.

Prior to Triton, Chris formed Newport Development Group which specialized in the investment, acquisition, and development of real estate in NYC. Individually, through joint ventures and partnerships, he was actively involved as a principal in the ownership and development of numerous residential and commercial properties. Prior to Newport, Chris was previously an institutional equity trader for Goldman Sachs and Valores Finamex International. He was primarily involved with institutional sales and trading in Latin American Equities and Foreign Exchange.  He actively traded a $150 million proprietary trading portfolio as well as manage and cultivate institutional accounts that held in excess of $500 billion in assets under management.

Chris resides in Carroll Gardens, NY with his wife and son.  Mr. Pardo is a native of New York and attended Columbia University with a concentration in economics and Polytechnic University with a concentration in electrical engineering.

Tom joined Invictus Real Estate Partners in 2020 and is responsible for underwriting investment opportunities and asset management.Prior to joining Invictus, Tom spent nearly 3 years as a financial analyst in the capital markets group at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP (HFF) and Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (JLL), which acquired the former in July of 2019, in both the New York City and Philadelphia offices. Throughout his time in commercial real estate brokerage, Tom underwrote and generated financial models for equity and debt transactions across all major property types, including multifamily, office, industrial, retail and hotel assets.Before his time at Invictus, Tom worked at Carahsoft Technology Corporation, serving as a leading associate for one of the largest government technology solutions providers.Tom resides in the Manhattan borough of New York City. During his spare time, Tom’s hobbies include athletics, spearfishing and hiking.

Tom received a MS in Commerce and a BA in political science from the University of Virginia.

Mike joined Invictus Real Estate Partners in 2023 and is responsible for reviewing debt investment opportunities, acquisitions, and asset management.

Mike most recently worked as a senior real estate investment associate at a fintech startup, where he successfully closed LP equity and high yield debt investments and also led asset management for a significant portion of the startup's real estate portfolio. Prior to that role, Mike spent 3 years as a senior analyst on the acquisitions team at Onyx Equities, an opportunistic private equity fund focused on commercial real estate ownership and development in the tri-state area.

Before his time at Onyx Equities, Mike worked as an associate on the UBS Real Estate Capital Markets desk, where he focused on CMBS lending and mezzanine loan syndications.

Mike resides in Monmouth County, New Jersey with his fiancé and two dogs. He holds a B.A. in physics from Rutgers University.

Richard joined Invictus in January of 2020 and is currently responsible for raising capital from individuals of high net worth, family offices, and institutional and non institutional sources that focus on direct investments in real estate debt origination, as well as equity investments in multi-family properties.

Prior to joining Invictus, Richard was an accomplished institutional equity sales trader with over 28 years of experience.  He cultivated and managed accounts with a combined $500B in assets under management.  Building valuable and meaningful relationships has been the foundation for his success.  Additionally, Richard was for  several years at Cantor Fitzgerald as a US Institutional Sales Trader covering mainly hedge funds with a combined $80B under assets executing options, futures and equities, and raising assets for capital market investments.  Before his sojourn at Cantor, Richard spent 10 years at Direct Access Partners as a silent partner helping to grow a 9 person operation in the NYSE to a platform with more than 150 employees, offering debt, equity and banking.  Previously Richard had been 6 years at Instinet where he worked both in the US desk and International desk covering accounts all throughout Latin America. While attending NYU for his BS in Finance, Richard started his career in Wall Street at Valores Finamex where he spent 6 years running a $25MM book trading Latin American equities and Forex exchange.  His expertise of both the English and Spanish language was essential to his success in trading the Latin American markets.

Richard resides in Miami FL with his wife and son, where he enjoys playing golf every opportunity he gets and hopes to get his son to be the next Tiger Woods.

Todd joined Invictus Real Estate Partners in 2022 and is responsible for reviewing debt and equity investment opportunities. He specializes in financial analysis and transaction execution.

Todd has more than two decades (20+ years) of experience in the commercial real estate industry on projects ranging across all of the major asset classes and asset types including more than ten (10) years focused exclusively on healthcare-focused real estate assets and several years overseeing the asset management of a portfolio of well-known iconic and historic office buildings throughout the US including New York City's incomparable Flatiron Building.  

His previous experience with three private equity real estate funds (Norvin Healthcare Properties, Sorgente Group of America and Gramercy Property Group) involved all facets of the acquisition, financing, asset management and disposition of more than $1.5B in total transactions.

Todd currently resides in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn with his wife, two kids and a dog. He is a graduate of Cornell University, holding a B.S. in Policy Analysis and Management with a concentration in Healthcare Economics.
